Day 1: Sandakan Arrival – River Cruise & Sunset Wildlife Spotting
Begin your adventure in Sandakan and journey to the lush banks of the Kinabatangan River. After settling into your riverside homestay, head out on your first guided river cruise. As the sun sets over Borneo, watch for proboscis monkeys, hornbills, and even pygmy elephants along the riverbanks. End the day with a delicious home-cooked dinner and a relaxed evening in the village.
Day 2: Dawn Safari, Jungle Trekking & Night Adventure
Wake early for a sunrise river cruise—one of the best times for wildlife sightings, including orangutans and other rare species. After breakfast, explore the rainforest on a guided jungle trek, discovering unique flora and hidden wildlife.
