Itinerary
Day 1: Uncovering the past of the Silk Road through Kunduz after Crossing the Border
Begin adventure upon entering Afghanistan, in order. As you cross the border from Tajikistan to Afghanistan, a guide will be waiting for you on the Afghan side. Continue your journey to Kunduz and witness the historical crossroads of the old silk route, rich history, cultural crossroads, and tenacious character with glimpse in the past. Enjoy traditional Afghan dinner. Stay overnight in Kunduz.
Day 2: Travel to Badakhstan - Stunning Unspoiled Mountain Landscapes
Travel to Badakhshan via road, the top of the world located remote northeast, Badakhshan is a land of soaring peaks, turquoise rivers, and ancient Silk Road history. Enjoy a stunning landscape along the way. Stay overnight in Faizabad.
Day 3: Journey to Ishkashim - The Door to the Wilderness
Transfer to Ishkashim along the Panj River. the entire Ishkashim area bears enormous cultural value to the Tajik people; it is the final "town" before the untamed Wakhan Corridor begins. Overnight at Ishkashim.
Day 4: Travel to Wakhan Corridor - Unknown Narrow Land
Travel to Wakhan Corridor, one of the remote border in Asia where nomadic Kyrgyz herders have maintained their traditional lifestyle that has not changed for decades. Begin the day with breakfast, followed by a full-day adventure to the last settlement in the Afghan corridor. Overnight at Sarhad E Broghil.
Day 5: A River Valley Unveiled in Afghanistan's Wakhan District, Badakhshan Province
A high-altitude region with over 3,800 meter near the Pakistan border, where Kyrgyz nomads wander and Hindu Kush peaks pierce the sky, with zero tourism, pure wilderness, no roads, and no hotels—just raw vistas untouched for decades. Spending the day resting and seeing native tribes and peoples in the wilderness, who have never been influenced by the outside world. Overnight at Sarhad E Broghil.
Day 6: Exploring Deeper into Little Pamir Breathtaking High-Altitude Plateau
Embark on an exciting transfer to Little Pamir, home to rarest earth and numerous Marco Polo sheep, ibex, snow leopards, and wolves with over 4000 meters. Travel takes another whole day as this is one of the most remote places on Earth - no proper roads, no hospitals, and very limited communication. Stop by a traditional campsite with amazing night skies and meet folks who have had little contact with the outside world. Overnight camping in Little Pamir.
Day 7: Little Pamir - One of the World's Most Remote Adventure
Discover a day hiking into rhythm of Kyrgyz nomadic-paced travel was like stepping into a lost world. This high-altitude, nomadic-facilitated adventure aims to immerse pastoral culture and nature. Explore Chaqmaqtin Lake and share laughs with Kyrgyz people while learning about the local way of life with plenty of chance to stop and hike along the way. Overnight camping in Little Pamir.
Day 8: Odyssey of Little Pamir Nomadic Road
Travel to Kyrgyz tribe and go around the areas on horseback. Continuing adventure to live with the Kyrgyz tribe while riding horses through the Little Pamir is a significant approach to strengthen your connection to this isolated country and learn via extension of expedition, cultural immersion, horsemanship, and wilderness trekking. Day 9: Returning back to Sarhade Brogil with Emotions
Ride the entire day back to Sarhade Brogil across the little Pamir Valley, leaving the world's most isolated region. Overnight at Sarhade Brogil.
Day 10: Crossing through Ishkashim Along the Valley
Travel back through Ishkashim, making another scenic route along the road. Overnight in Ishkashim.
Day 11: Back to Origins Where Its Begin Faizabad
Transfer en route full-day drive journey back to Faizabad via little corridor. Overnight in Faizabad.
Day 12: A Lifetime of Farewell Sweet Memories
Journey through Faizabad to Kunduz, then across the border and back to Tajikistan, where it all began. Bid farewell with wonderful memories.
