Enjoy a lovely day exploring the islands and the wonderful aquatic life! Discover the amazing and beautiful coral formations located on the islands of Mataking, Timba Timba, and Pandan.Timba Timba Island boasts beautiful, pristine white sand. In addition to its stunning beach, it's a wonderful place to search for unique macro marine species such as cuttlefish, frogfish, crabs, and sometimes even nurse sharks. Turtles are quite plentiful, and it's also common to spot blue ribbon eels, moray eels, lobsters, and barracudas.
Mataking Island features Malaysia's first 'Underwater Post Office', often referred to as the 'Shipwreck Post', and is linked to Pulau Mataking Kecil (Small Mataking Island) by a lovely little sand bank. The whole island is wrapped in lovely house reefs, making it super easy to snorkel or dive. From May to August, you might just have the wonderful opportunity to see Hawksbill and green turtles laying their eggs on the beach.
Itinerary
Day 1: Discover the Timba Timba, Mataking & Pandanan in snorkeling or diving, allowing exploration of the vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
Spend your day exploring island and marine life. Explore the rich variety and awe-inspiring coral formations present on the islands of Mataking, Timba Timba, and Pandanan. The excursion departs at the Semporna jetty and proceeds to Timba Timba island in a speedboat. After a brief registration process, the journey to the island takes around one hour. A sheltered island for a short hop, conveniently located for a brief journey, offers an ideal setting for exploration with tranquil seas that are suited for everybody. Discover the several reefs in the vicinity and enjoy the pristine beach.
Once ready, experience the exhilaration of snorkelling or diving and explore the remarkable species that inhabit the underwater world. Unlike deep dive, beginner DSD diving or snorkelling does not necessitate any certification or advance training, your guide will be present to provide assistance at every stage, even seniors and non-swimmers are encouraged to give it a try. Before entering the water, you will be given a safety briefing. Once you're all set, get geared up and practice your skills in shallow water to start gaining some confidence and swim amongst tropical fish that you can't find anywhere else in the world.
After that, enjoy a delicious local homemade lunch in its unique landscape. All you have to do is relax, and enjoy the journey. The second stop at Mataking island beach where you can snorkel or dive into the blue waters of this secluded and beautiful beach. The third stop at Pandanan bay and island for the final stop where you can snorkel or another relaxation into the blue waters of this isolated spots, depending on sea currents and the state of the weather, a boat trip and leisure time could last more.Once the third island concludes, we will be returning back to jetty for your next adventure.

Seeing sea turtles is possible by luck, but by no means guaranteed, because these are wild creatures - please be understandable about nature habitat.
We dive in shallow water with an average depth of 2,5 meters, max 6meters only.
No scuba diving certificate is required (for DSD diving)
Please advise the weather, sea & government approval may hinder the tour starting and ending time, the sea current is something we cant control.
Removing, picking up, stepping on, or destroying any marine life especially coral reef during the excursion is absolutely forbidden.

Please wear wetsuit if you have it.
