Itinerary
Day 1: Bornean Forest Canopies and River Safaris
Start with pickup from your Sandakan hotel or Sandakan Airport and travel to the Rainforest Discovery Center near Sepilok. Walk along the elevated canopy walkways and enjoy panoramic views of the rainforest and birdlife. Continue to the Kinabatangan River and enjoy the journey through the surrounding landscape before boarding a river boat for a wildlife cruise. Search for orangutans, macaques, pygmy elephants, hornbills, crocodiles, proboscis monkeys and other wildlife along the riverbanks. After dinner by the Kinabatangan River, join a night cruise to search for nocturnal wildlife before returning to Sandakan for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Farewell to Sandakan
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel or resort followed by free time in the morning. Check out and take the scheduled transfer to Sandakan Airport or your next destination within the Sandakan area.
