Delight in the wonderland of the valley of the moon. This excursion to Unesco Wadi Rum is an exciting blend of desert, mountains, cultures, and tradition for a day trip in the surrounds of Wadi Rum Protected Area. Experience the history and breathtaking scenery of Unesco Wadi Rum with a short jeep tour experience with a quick visit. You'll feel as though you've travelled back in time and caught a glimpse of desert life.

Meet your guides, get to know your camels, ride through one of the most famous locations, and enjoy spectacular views of the setting sun as you travel across the untamed desert. When your ride is over, you will be driven back to our lodging, which is located in the centre of the protected area. Devour a fantastic evening in the heart of the desert with our guide, sit around a bonfire, and eat homemade bedouin meal cooked on the sand and overnight stay in a desert tent are included.

Itinerary

Day 1: The Valley of the Moon in Desert of Jordan

Embark on an exciting day touring Wadi Rum, our representative will greet you in the Wadi Rum Village. This 3-hour trip includes a minimum of four highlight and our first stop on your trip will be at the Nabatean temple, which is a one-of-a-kind tourist attraction.After the temple, your next destination will be Lawrence's Spring, where you can witness the fresh water reserve that people used to have surrounded by mountains. The Golden Sand Dunes are next on the list. It is recommended to climb all the way to the top of the dune and enjoy the view. The tour continues to Khazali Canyon, which is famous for its stunning antique nabateen inscriptions. If we have more time during the tour, we can visit other highlights; this tour can be carried out in the morning or at sunset.

Following the journey, we will transport you back to our traditional camp, where you can explore the red and white desert (without a guide) or rest by the campfire with a cup of tea before enjoying a typical Bedouin lunch. After supper, we normally talk late around the fire while gazing up at the gorgeous night sky. Your guides may be persuaded to provide Bedouin music and storytelling while admiring the starry skies at night.

Day 2: Leaving the Desert

On the next day after traditional breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Rum Village for transport to your next adventure!

The official entry for Wadi Rum is 7 JOD, or free with Jordan Pass, no guide can include this.
The meeting will take place at Wadi Rum village or Wadi Rum Visitor Center.
