Take in the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat on sunrise. Admire the temple, ruins, and history on multiple site exploration all in 1-day with pickup inclusive. Itinerary
Day 1: Take in the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat on sunrise
We will start our exciting, thrilling, and daring journey from your hotel door with a complimentary pick up so you can see the incredible sunrise at Angkor Wat, where breathtaking scenery awaits. After the pickup, take in a peaceful 40-minute drive through the early morning before making a brief stop at the Angkor office and show your Angkor pass which can be purchase in advance by own customer. After that, head to the sunrise viewpoints, explore Angkor Wat for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and choose the best spots for your photos.
Once you're completed, take a guide to explore the deeper interior of the great temple at Angkor, which is made up of ancient ruins and temples that have fascinated tourists for centuries. You'll see corridors, chambers, and upper terraces for views that will give you a sense of what life was like in the Khmer era. The journey continues to Tonle Om Gate, one of the five ancient god gates dated back to the 12th century against vast open land, where you will enter the realm of the gods before passing through the historic Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple, which is adorned with 216 gigantic faces or smiling face towers. Additional stops include Terrace of the Elephant, among others. As the tour advance, there are occasional breaks for rest, restrooms, refreshments, food break if necessary.
Proceed on your journey to Ta Prohm, also called the "Tomb Raider Temple," which is distinguished by its overgrown jungle trees and vines. Many parts of the temple are in a state of disrepair, but they are exquisitely decorated by the tree root landscape. Avoid the heavy crowds that enter from other directions as you approach Ta Prohm.
